Getting a good skin care regimen is the number one concern of anybody who wants to achieve a healthy and beautiful skin. What is a good skin care regimen; what does it involve and what products should be used?
Remember that a good skin care regimen should be appropriate to your skin type, your workplace and your neighborhood. Take for example you are working in a fiber factory. Your kind of work suggests that you must clean your face more than once through out the day. And since more oil is stripped off your skin, you must not forget that part of your skin care regimen – to moisturize it. Apply a light moisturizer to protect your skin from the dirt and pollutants in the air.
In your skin care regimen, never forget to clean your face gently. Avoid rubbing too hard and doing it very often. Remember that the body may produce more oil to compensate the excessive oil removed from your skin. Don’t also use harsh soap and cleansers. And after cleaning, apply moisturizers. If you wish to exfoliate, it is recommended to do it once in a week. If you can not go away from doing it more often, use a very light product.
If you wake up with an oily skin the next day, you may use a light toner instead of cleaning it again. A good moisturizer in the morning should also be part of your skin care regimen even if you do have oily skin, as sometimes if you add some natural moisturizer the body will turn off its own oil glands.
Regularly monitor your skin care regimen and the products you use. Be sure that they’re designed for your skin type. Don’t use anti-acne products thinking that it will help prevent breakout if you don’t have acne. Be sensitive how your skin care regimen makes your face look and feel and be ready to make some adjustments. You may add a little moisturizer during the day for dry skin or using blotter sheets for oily skin.
A good skin care regimen pays after all!
